Volunteer Stay and Play Group Helper – Crackers Stay and Play Group
Crackers Stay and Play Group runs at St John’s Centre each Wednesday during term time. This is a successful group providing families with children aged 0 – 4 years a place to meet. Parents and carers have the chance to socialise whilst children have the opportunity to play and mix with others of a similar age. From September 2016 we need volunteers to help in a variety of ways. This includes helping to set up and tidy away, meeting and greeting families as they arrive, preparing snacks and drinks, preparing and facilitating a craft activity and leading story and singing time. You don’t need to have a qualification in childcare but a willingness to help and support is essential.
