We have many regular users who offer a wide variety of services. Their details and the venues they use are shown below.
 

St. John's Centre

 
AA (Charge Applies)
Every Saturday 19.00hrs – 21.00hrs. We offer group support for men and women who are able share their experience, strength and hope with each other.  To find a way to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
Armstrong Karate and Kickboxing (Charge Applies)
Every Tuesday 17.00hrs – 18.00hrs / Every Wednesday 19.00hrs – 20.00hrs / Every Thursday 17.45hrs – 18.45hrs / Every Saturday 11.00hrs – 12.30hrs.. We are a family run organisation dedicated to the promotion of martial arts through friendship and co-operation amongst instructors and students, allowing students of all ages to train together. We aim to improve confidence, fitness and discipline through our training sessions and regular events throughout the year. Armstrong Karate combines Karate, Kickboxing, Freestyle and full contact karate in a disciplined and friendly environment. £4 a session but family discounts are available.
Catholic Home Education Group (Closed Group)
Monthly sessions - Thursday Evening - 15.00hrs to 17.00hrs. We are a small group of families who are all Roman Catholic and home educate our children. We meet on a monthly basis to support each other's faith, give group catechesis to our children and encourage their friendships. Fr Eamonn and Fr David also give us the opportunity to share a short period of prayer in the church.
Community Institute of Training (Charge Applies)
Every Saturday - 13.00hrs to 17.00hrs Community Institute of Training offer 1-1 tuition for students from age 4 to 16. We work with students to build strong academic competence in Mathematics, English and Science. We strongly believe any child can achieve academically if given the required resources and enabling environment. Our range of support help students to be able to take and successfully pass exams such as SATS, 11 Plus and GCSE.
Crackers Playgroup (Charge Applies)
Term Time only - Wednesday 9am & 12.30pm
£2 per child and carers, 50p per additional child over 6 months (refreshments and snacks included)

Our Playgroup provides two stay and play groups providing social networks positive play and child development support. The playgroup will support parents to actively communicate listen and play with their children, build positive techniques in tackling challenging behaviours and offer mentoring support. `
Lighthouse Chapel International (Free)
Sunday -12.30hrs – 14.30hr

Beaver Scouts – 6 – 8 years

Scouts - 10.5 years – 14 years
Friday 18.00hrs – 19.30

Slimming World (Charge Applies)

Every Monday - 9:15hrs & 11:00hrs 

Slimming World is a UK-based weight loss organisation. Follow a 'Food Optimising' eating plan, explore the benefits of moderate activity through its 'Body Magic' program, and receive group support whilst on your weight loss journey.


Tai- Chi (Free) 
Thursday - 10.30hrs - 11.30hrs
Our classes are aimed at the over 50's looking for gentle exercise. You may carry out the class seated but we do encourage most of our participants to stand and move around as much as they can.
Thursday Luncheon Club (£3 charge applies)
Thursday 12.30hrs – 14.30hrs

A volunteer lead group providing a weekly social event for members of the community. Cost includes freshly prepared food and activities).

Jack Dromey MP Advice Surgery (Free)
Third Saturday of each month - 11:00hrs - 12:00hrs

The Advice Surgery offers an opportunity for members of the community to meet their local MP and discuss matters of concern. This can include:
Housing complaints
School issues
Community issues
Policing
Immigration

  Al Anon (Charge Applies)
Monday 20.30hrs – 21.30hrs

Al-Anon Family Groups, providing regular meetings where members share  their own experience of living with alcoholism. Al-Anon does not offer advice or counselling, but provides peer support through understanding, strength and hope.
Kingstanding Faith Mums (Free)
Saturday 15.00hrs – 17.00hrs

Faith Mums are a group of Kingstanding mothers, meeting to encourage and inspire each other based on biblical principles. The group is open to anyone who has an interest in being part of this wonderful group of women.
The Imagine Group (Charge Applies)
Monday – 13:00hrs – 16:00hrs & Friday 12:00hrs – 15:00hrs

An activity based peer support group for those with mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. New members are very welcome.
