Volunteering at New Heights

Volunteers are the heart and soul of our project. They play an important role in supporting the services we provide:

  • Community Café
  • BREATHE Welfare Advice and Advocacy Service
  • Befriending Service ( letter writing, home visits, coffee and chat )
  • Silver Surfers ( I.T. support for over 50’s )
  • Gardening (St. John’s Centre and Café )
  • Reminiscence Group ( Sharing memories of yester years and loved ones )
  • Knit and Chat

Volunteers are also key to services provided by our colleagues who run:

  • Crackers Play Group
  • Luncheon Club ( Social group for over 50’s )
