We are immensely proud of our volunteers who give up their time to help and support not just our charity but our community. In recognition of their commitment we believe it is important to celebrate their success band share their achievements.

Volunteer’s Week Celebrations 2016

In recognition of the outstanding dedication and commitment shown by volunteers at New Heights Warren Farm Community Project they were invited to Afternoon Tea on Friday 10th June 2016.   The afternoon tea was our way of saying a big thank you for the fantastic support the volunteers give to our project and the local community.  Volunteers from the community café, luncheon club, monthly community meal, Crackers playgroup and Scouts came together with several of our trustees to enjoy tea and cakes.  Jack Dromey, MP for Erdington also made a special guest appearance.

In recognition of the contribution volunteers make here at New Heights Warren Farm Community Project we made several nominations for this year’s BVSC Volunteer Awards:

Kathleen, Sean and Noran were finalists in their categories and we are pleased to announce that they were runners up in their award category.  On behalf of Christ the King Parish and New Heights Warren Farm Community Project, thank you to all our volunteers for your continued support and dedication to supporting others.

 

Volunteer Celebration on Friday 9th June 2017

 In recognition of their hard work and commitment to helping others, the volunteers at New Heights Warren Farm Community Project were invited to a celebration event on Friday 9th June 2017. This was our way of saying “Thank you” for the fantastic support they give to our project and the local community.  Volunteers from the Community Café, Befriending Service, Luncheon Club, Monthly Community Meal, Crackers Playgroup, Silver Surfers and those with supporting roles including Trustees, Administration Support and Handy Person came together to celebrate their achievements.

We also welcomed a very special guest:  Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Anne Underwood who took time to speak to the volunteers about the support they give the charity.

Thank you to all our volunteers for the time you give to supporting the Kingstanding community.
