Forget Me Not Choir
The Forget Me Not Choir is a session for people living with dementia and their carers. It provides an opportunity to enjoy singing together in a relaxed and supportive environment. The group meets every Monday from 1:15pm to 2:30pm at the St Johns Centre for a sing-along and a friendly get-together.
LINE DANCING
The Line Dancing session is a fun and energetic class suitable for all abilities. It offers a great way to stay active, learn new dance routines, and enjoy music in a friendly and social atmosphere. The group meets every Tuesday from 11:00am to 12:00pm at the St Johns Centre.
FITNESS SESSIONS
Women’s Fitness & Chair-Based Fitness – These back-to-back sessions offer a great way to stay active in a supportive and social environment. Women’s Fitness (9:15am–10:00am) focuses on improving strength, flexibility, and overall wellbeing, while Chair-Based Fitness (10:00am–10:45am) provides gentle exercises that can be done while seated, helping to improve mobility and strength for all abilities. The sessions take place every Wednesday at the St Johns Centre.
FAMILY BOXERCISE
The Family Boxercise session is a fun and energetic class for school-aged children, focusing on fitness, coordination, and confidence in a supportive and friendly environment. The group meets every Wednesday from 3:30pm to 4:15pm at the St Johns Centre.
Teas & Coffee
The Teas and Coffee session is a relaxed social gathering where people can enjoy a hot drink and friendly conversation. The group meets every Thursday from 10:00am to 10:30am at the St Johns Centre.
TAI CHI
The Tai Chi session is a gentle exercise class that promotes balance, flexibility, relaxation, and overall wellbeing. The slow, flowing movements help reduce stress, improve posture and coordination, and encourage mindfulness. Participants of all abilities are welcome to enjoy the calming atmosphere while meeting others and taking care of their physical and mental health. The group meets every Thursday from 10:30am to 11:30am at the St Johns Centre.
LUNCH CLUB
The Lunch Club is a welcoming social gathering where participants can enjoy a freshly prepared meal in a friendly and relaxed environment. It provides an opportunity to meet new people, catch up with friends, and enjoy conversation over lunch. The session encourages community connection and wellbeing, making mealtimes a sociable and enjoyable experience. The group meets every Thursday from 12:30pm to 2:30pm at the St Johns Centre.
GIRLS ACTIVE CLUB
The Girls Active Club is a fun and energetic session designed for girls aged 7–16. It encourages physical activity, teamwork, and confidence through a variety of games, exercises, and activities in a safe and supportive environment. Participants can improve fitness, make new friends, and enjoy being active in a welcoming and positive space. The group meets every Thursday from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. If the weather is on our side the sessions will be outdoors, if not it will take place at the St Johns Centre.
STAY, LEARN & PLAY
Stay, Learn & Play is a lively and engaging session for young children. It provides opportunities for play, learning, and social interaction in a safe and friendly environment. Activities include creative play, early learning games, and opportunities to develop social and motor skills. The group meets every Friday from 9:30am to 11:00am at the St Johns Centre.
FOOD PANTRY
Food Pantry is a supportive and welcoming session for individuals and families in need. It provides access to essential groceries and household items in a friendly and respectful environment. Participants can receive assistance, connect with the community, and find support where needed. The Food Pantry is open fortnightly on Fridays from 11:30am to 12:30pm at the St Johns Centre.
Community Meal
All welcome to join us and share a three course meal on the last Sunday of each month! Places available on a first come first serve basis.
All dietary requirements catered for, this is a FREE SERVICE funded by Dr Bhomra of Aylesbury Surgery.
