  • Activities Volunteer

    Activities Volunteer

    Help us bring people together through fun and friendly activities.

    • Prepare the space: Help set up and pack away activity materials.
    • Join in: Get involved in fun crafts, games, and sessions.
    • Welcome others: Greet people warmly and enjoy a friendly chat.
    • Supporting: Encourage and help participants during activities.

  • Food Pantry Volunteer

    Food Pantry Volunteer

    Support our weekly food pantry and help make sure local people can access support they might need. 

    • Sorting donations: Checking and organizing incoming items
    • Registration: Signing visitors in and taking details
    • Organising shelves: Reorganising pantry goods and stocking
    • Refreshments: Making and serving tea, coffee, and snacks
    • Helping visitors: Guiding people and answering questions
    • Keeping the pantry neat and tidy: Maintaining a clean and clear space

  • Lunch Club Volunteer

    Lunch Club Volunteer

    Help make our lunch club a welcoming place where people can enjoy good food and company.

    • Welcoming guests: Greeting people warmly at the door as they arrive
    • Setting up tables: Arranging furniture and preparing the room beforehand
    • Serving food and drinks: Handing out refreshments during the event
    • Helping clear away: Tidying up the space and wiping tables after

  • Childrens Club Volunteer

    Children’s Club Volunteer

    Help create a fun, safe space for children to enjoy activities and make friends.

    • Games, Crafts and activities: Planning and leading fun group projects
    • Encouraging: Inviting kids to join in and play
    • Setting up and Packing away: Preparing the room before and clearing after

    Help us spread the word about what’s happening, who we are and what we do across the community

    • Creating materials: Designing posters, flyers, and information leaflets
    • Sharing news: Writing newsletters and updating noticeboards
    • Promoting our services: Spreading the word about what we offer
    • Social media work: Helping capture images for social media occasionally.

    • Admin Volunteer

      Admin Volunteer

      Help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

      • Filling and organising: Sorting paperwork and keeping files in order
      • Basic office tasks: Answering emails, taking messages, and photocopying
      • Updating information: Inputting new details into computers or spreadsheets
      • Updating documents: Revising existing forms, templates, and guidelines
      • Supporting the team: Helping out other staff with daily tasks

      Help create a friendly space where people can enjoy a drink, a chat and of course a warm welcome.

      • Serving refreshments: Handing out hot drinks and snacks to customers
      • Welcoming customers: Greeting people warmly as they enter the café
      • Keeping the cafe area tidy: Wiping down tables and clearing away cups
      • Helping: Making toast, preparing sandwiches, and plating food

    • Cleaning & Gardening Volunteer

      Gardening Volunteer

      Help us keep our spaces clean, safe and welcoming for everyone.

        • Weeding: Removing unwanted plants from garden beds and paths
        • Keeping grounds tidy: Picking up litter and sweeping outdoor walkways
        • Preparing spaces for activities: Setting up equipment and moving furniture
        • Restocking supplies: Refilling soaps, toilet rolls, and cleaning products
