October Half Term Activities

We kicked off our October Half Term activities on Monday 27th October 2025 with a fantastic day full of creativity, teamwork, and fun! The morning began with an engaging group session led by MW Impact at 10am, where participants got involved in a range of exciting team activities designed to build confidence and connection. At 11am, we moved into a BCAT Arts & Crafts workshop, where everyone had the chance to get creative and express themselves through hands-on art projects. We rounded off the day with a relaxed lunch and play session from 12–1pm, giving everyone time to refuel, socialise, and enjoy some free play together.

It was a wonderful start to the week and set the tone for the rest of our half term programme!

On Day 2, Tuesday 28th October 2025 we kicked the day off with a Fitness session once again led by MW Impact, everyone got involved in different active games including football kick arounds, training courses, even games of the classic “stuck in the mud”. This was a great team building exercise for everyone taking part. After the session we headed inside St Johns Centre to do a Classroom Based “Haunted Birmingham Story Writing Challenge” which is apart of Birmingham Literacy Trust, everyone made their own spooky top trumps cards based off their story while watching “A Nightmare Before Christmas” on the projector.

The day ended with a Lunch & Free Play session where everyone got a prepared Halloween themed lunch of their selection. We all played games such as UNO & GIANT JENGA!

We look forward to future festivities!
